After the success of Chandrayaan-3, now ISRO has planned to build a space station by the year 2035 and put the first Indian on the Moon in 2040. On 17 October 2023, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high level meeting with ISRO scientists, in which this target has been set. At present only two Space Stations are working in space. The first is ISS i.e. International Space Station and the second is China's Tiangong Space Station. ISS has been present in orbit for the last two decades. It has 6 modules and 7 Astronauts can live in it. The International Space Station has been built jointly by many countries, and it can be retired by the year 2030. Whereas China's Tiangong Space Station has three modules, in which three astronauts can live. China's Space Station is at a height of 450 km from the earth and it will work for the next 15 years.
