Chaim Rutenberg isn’t just the founder of Beef Up Our Boys—he’s the embodiment of selflessness in action. What started as a simple act of kindness for his nephew quickly grew into a nationwide mission delivering thousands of kosher beef jerky packs to Israeli soldiers. Chaim’s personal brand is built on showing up for others without hesitation, and his story reveals how faith, grit, and a deep commitment to Tikkun Olam can turn one person’s vision into a powerful force for good. We explore his journey of making Aliyah, overcoming challenges, and inspiring a community to do more than just survive—to truly support and uplift.
Chaim Rutenberg is a selfless community leader who made aliyah from the U.S. about a decade ago. A quality-assurance director by trade, he’s led the grassroots Beef Up Our Boys initiative since October 2023—coordinating kosher suppliers, artisans, and teams of over 140 volunteers to produce and send upwards of 1,000 daily care packages to soldiers and emergency responders. Chaim has built a donation-driven operation that blends practical support with spiritual uplift, handwritten notes, and unity across communities.
