Annai was born and raised in Dallas, TX as a first-generation Mexican-American. From her easy bake oven meals to her imaginative college dishes, Annai found her passion and creativity come to life in the kitchen. Balancing work, school, and food, Annai slowly but surely honed her culinary skills over the years. So much so that she earned an apron on Season 11 of Master Chef - The Season of Legends!!! Finding a way to give traditional Mexican food a modern twist impressed a panel of legendary chefs and validated everything Annai had been working towards.
