LAWD, y’all—we told you a whole lot has happened since we last checked in, and it sure has! Between the whirlwind of kicking off a new year, our kids getting their licenses, moving homes, and starting new jobs, we’ve had more than our fair share on our plates. On a real and vulnerable note, we’ve been missing The Getaway something fierce. Sometimes, knowing when to press pause is a lesson all its own, and it takes true courage to do if it feels right. We needed that pause—to reflect, reset, and dream up something fresh. The goal? To come back bigger and better than ever in 2026!

Musee Bath was founded by Leisha Pickering, a Mississippi mother of 5 boys, who was at a place of restarting her life after a very public divorce. Wanting to feel joy and purpose again, she created bath balms in the kitchen of her home. Fast forward 8 years and she’s made tens of thousands of bath products, been on Oprah’s favorites things list, and helped a multitude of Mississippi women to also get their lives back. We can’t wait for you to be encouraged and inspired by Leisha Pickering.
