His findings on mucus and alkaline foods are sound science. I doubted him in my ignorance.


Alkaline foods include:

Vegetables • Spinach • Kale • Broccoli • Cucumber • Celery • Zucchini • Bell peppers • Swiss chard Fruits • Avocados • Lemons (despite being acidic in taste, they have an alkalizing effect) • Watermelon • Mangoes • Papayas • Berries (especially raspberries and blueberries) • Apples • Bananas (ripe) Nuts & Seeds • Almonds • Chia seeds • Flaxseeds • Pumpkin seeds Grains & Legumes (in moderation) • Quinoa • Lentils • Millet Other Alkaline Food • Coconut water • Herbal teas (like chamomile or ginger) • Alkaline water • Olive oil
