After being poisoned by Manthara’s deceitful words, Queen Kaikeyi — once full of love for Shri Ram — is consumed by fear and insecurity. She enters the Kop Bhavan (chamber of anger) and refuses to see King Dasharath. When the heartbroken king comes to pacify her, Kaikeyi reminds him of the two boons he had promised long ago. To his shock, she demands that Bharat be crowned Yuvraj, and Shri Ram be sent to exile in the forest for 14 years.

This moment, filled with anguish and helplessness, reveals the fragility of human emotions and the divine acceptance of destiny. While King Dasharath’s heart shatters, Shri Ram, ever calm and devoted to dharma, accepts the exile with humility and grace — setting an eternal example of obedience, righteousness, and inner strength.
