Writing Home-"What will people say?"
Lina is Lina and The Ali Family is its own Ali Family, From Hyderabad to Hyderabad House in Harris Park Sydney, Lina shares her experience of being a Muslim Indian Australian Woman.  Lina shares “I grew up one time of my life erasing all Indian and Australian part of my identity to be Muslim, that didn’t work. Even then it wasn’t good enough. And then you do that with the Indian part and then it’s still not good enough. Then you do it with the Australian part and they still for the life of them can’t pronounce your name right let alone accept you”  The world asks Log kya kahenge? (Hindi saying) What will people say? Lina doesn’t give a f*ck! Lina is unapologetically Lina. And the Ali Family is its own Ali Family.
