Situation Report (09/29/25)

The sixth episode of Situation Report is now live. This podcast is a 10-15 minute weekly briefing for San Bernardino County Fire personnel.

This episode features division updates for the week of September 29, 2025, including:

West Valley Division: Gas monitor training for Battalions 2 & 3 on Tuesday and Thursday, and Upland rig attendance at the funeral for retired Fire Chief John Scanlon on Friday (11 a.m.–1 p.m.).
East Valley Division: Multi‑mission coats will be distributed at Fire Station 221 (Tuesday & Thursday), and Medic Squad 222 will support CERT fire safety training in San Bernardino on Tuesday.
Mountain Division: Live fire training will engage Medic Engines 26, 94, and 96 in the afternoon session on Tuesday.
South Desert Division: The schedule includes Miracle League baseball, a rescheduled live burn with Stations 36 & 42, coat distribution, routine apparatus servicing, and Friday night football coverage by Ambulance 42.
North Desert Division: Key events include NFPA physicals, live fire training (Engines 322, 305, 10, 8), school visits and career day outreach, environmental emergency training, coat distribution, apparatus/crew site tours, and standby coverage at local football games and community events.
