
Dennis and Tina talk about how thinking your way through feelings isn't really the best approach and how uncomfortable it can be getting into the body and how would you even know how to do that! They discuss the body-mind as a more full way of navigation through feelings and sensations living in the body.
We find out that Dennis is a "plunge in" kinda guy, but that there are other ways of going softly, softly into our body, particularly for those who feel the body and it's sensations as a bit of a scary place.
They look at breath and the Stairway to Heaven (nothing to do with orgasms unfortunately) or Stairway down to the coccyx as well as different ways to divert to attention to the body to practice awareness - one of the pinnacles of the Somatic Approach, and which requires the building of a new language - the language of sensation.
