Lynn Baranski, Managing Director, is the Global Head of Investments for BlackRock Private Equity Partners (PEP) within BlackRock Alternative Investors (BAI). She is a member of the BAI Exco and PEP's Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committee.
Baranski discusses the macro environment in the first three quarters of 2022, the state of private equity deal flow and and shifting strategies in response. She then shares her thoughts behind the long-term growth of private equity, democratization of access and retail investors' under-allocation in PE relative to performance.
