Richard Rosenthal and Roy Ben-Hur are key figures within Deloitte Advisory, both working within the fast-growing world of blockchain and digital assets. Richard is a principal in Deloitte's Advisory practice. He leads complex & transformative projects, supporting banking, crypto-native and fintech clients in setting up new entities, enabling M&A activity, launching digital asset products and addressing a broad range of regulatory and risk areas to within the US banking system. Richard leads Deloitte's Business & Entity Transformation integrated services and also leads Deloitte's Digital Assets Banking Regulatory practice. Roy is the Digital Assets Financial Services leader for Deloitte Advisory. He has been a consultant in the financial services industry for over 23 years and brings deep industry experience and a background leading large scale integration programs supporting business, compliance, risk, regulatory and technology transformation initiatives. Roy’s engagements in the digital assets space include supporting clients establish buy-hold/custody-sell and lend business models, leading digital assets regulatory applications and assisting clients enhance their risk & control frameworks to manage digital asset risks. They each discuss their journey into the digital access space, the state of the industry and what they envision for the industry going forward.
