Prayers To Say Upon Breaking Your Fast
Following the tradition of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, one is to say a prayer upon breaking ones fast. It is also related by Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn Al-Aas (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: ‘Indeed the fasting person has at the time of breaking fast, a supplication which is not rejected’. So, we should ask from Allah all that we want upon breaking the fast. One of the prayer you can also say is the one from Ibn Abee Mulaykah who said: ‘I Heard Abdullah Ibn Umar say when he broke his fast: ‘O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which envelopes all things, that You forgive me.’
