While we have been entertained with the political dramas in the country, our soldiers on board our resupply ferries were facing the threats from the chinese coast guards who blocked their way and fired water cannons at them simply because they try to navigate in the West Philippine Sea to give supplies to our ships (BRP Sierra Madre) in Ayungin. The attack drew outrage from world powers, including the United States, and incensed no less than President Rodrigo Duterte who is known for his pro-China policy.
