The Boogeyman holds down the fulcrum lurking in the dark waiting to traumatize children. Pixar brings us Elemental and it is the first time in five years that they will play a short before the movie, the world looks detailed and vast, the story looks like Romeo & Juliet, probably without the suicide, although it does look like Water boy could accidentally murder Fire girl pretty easily. Finally, the Fast franchise has been unceremoniously demoted to the five hole after the 9th installment fell flat. Fast X appears to be returning to what made its over the top ridiculousness so popular with a the first of a two part finale of the saga with a reasonable runtime and more family and physics defying stunt sequences because fuck it, why not.
