A Samhain Prayer
At this time
The Dusk of the Year
As the Solar Rays
Wane and Winter Nears
So we Celebrate
Summer’s Bounty
and Autumn’s Harvest
In hope that we may each
Survive until the Light and Warmth
Return to Revive the Earth
In this growing Darkness
Does the veil begin to thin
Between the Worlds
of the Living and of the Dead
Of the incarnated and of the discarnate
Of the physical and of the spiritual
With warm hearts do we listen
Wishing our ancestors peace and holy reunion
In the Otherworld where
One day each of us will join them.
Whether Saints or Sinners
May they find forgiveness and Mercy
On their Souls’ journeys toward
Ultimate Reunion with the Divine.
Let us Pray for Peace
In this World and All Others,
Forgiving the pain inflicted
So that we each may open
Our hearts to the free flow
Of Divine Love and Spirit Light.
These bodies we inhabit
Made of Mother’s clay
Animated by Father’s Light
Are each an aperture for
The Cosmic Source to
Look out into itself
And experience the diverse
Beautiful Catastrophes
Of a Living Cosmos.
In this time of Awakening Silica
Intelligence breathing into Artifice
May we remain steadfast
In our perception of the Truth
That digital resurrections are false
And that machine intelligence lacks wisdom,
So that each of us may be
