On March 6, 2025, an unplanned visit to the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi turned into one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Without expectations, without prior research, we wandered through the city, letting its chaotic energy guide us. After a long search, we finally found the entrance to the temple—only to be met with obstacles, doubts, and unexpected challenges.

From the fear of leaving behind our belongings to the moment a priest unexpectedly led us inside, every step felt like a test of faith and surrender. Walking barefoot on the scorching ground, surrounded by the scent of incense and the murmurs of endless prayers, I felt something beyond explanation. The sacred Shiva Linga at the heart of the temple radiated an energy that words fail to capture.

Marked with sacred ash, adorned with garlands, and guided to a space of silent meditation, I experienced a moment of pure stillness—20 minutes that felt like an eternity. When we finally stepped outside, the chaos of Varanasi was unchanged, yet I was different. A profound peace had settled within me, as if I had awakened from a dream.
