
Difficult emotions can be extremely overwhelming. We often try to avoid, ignore, repress, or even numb so that we don't have to feel. Our emotions have so much wisdom and insight into how we view and experience the world. Over the next few weeks we will be diving into meditations on difficult emotions. This week we start off we feelings around depression: sadness, emptiness, lack of motivation, etc. This meditation invites the listener to turn toward the emotions with a compassionate, empathetic ear in order to increase self-awareness and show love to the parts of our selves that experience these difficult feelings.
