Leadership Vibes | Franco McGee on Leadership, Community, and Running for City Council in Monroe, NC
An episode of firsts for Rush'd Vibes - the first episode in a remote location, and our first guest who's running for local government.
Franco McGee was born and raised in the city of Monroe, NC, and has served in multiple positions working for the city for the past 20 years. That includes one term as a city councilman, elected in 2017. However, he lost re-election in 2021.
Now, he's running again - and wanted to come on the pod & share why he loves his hometown, what it means to lead, how he's grown since the last election, and how he plans to serve the people of Monroe when he wins in November.
