This is Supposed to be Fun: My 2025 Boston Marathon Reflection

"This is supposed to be fun, and I'm not having fun?" Thoughts that went through my head late in the marathon.

In this episode, I am taking you inside my Boston Marathon experience - the highs, the lows, and the lessons I learned. From fighting through sickness and jet lag to the tough mental battle of finishing. I open up to you with authenticity and may even get a little emotional.

I also share three key post-race questions I ask my athletes and encourage you all to jot down and use for your future races!

What You’ll Hear in This Episode:

  • The importance of mental strength and mindset shifts mid-race
  • Post-race recap questions you can use to grow from your races
  • A creative idea for sharing Jesus on the course

Key Takeaways:

  • God is present all throughout your race
  • Your finish time doesn't define your worth
  • It's okay to reframe goals to protect your love for running
