Rumble is your virtual safe space to learning how best to act on your values and resolve values-conflict in the workplace and community. This is not a how-to podcast, instead, it relies on your imagination and emotions to find inspiration and learn from stories that muster the courage, build empathy, and move you to action. The podcast is not a lecture about what you should do in difficult situations. Rather, it exposes you to the realities and stories of others that may inspire you and make you realize your own “AHA!” moment.

5. Our Experiences of Social Transitioning

Guests: Paige Tribdino and Marl Candido

Description: In celebration of Pride month, Rumble is launching its Pride Series that is dedicated to issues and ideas on advancing the rights and protection of our LGBTQI+ folks. In its first episode, I am joined by Paige Tribdino and Marl Candido, who I both know from college, in this conversation to talk about our experiences in social transitioning. We shared our understanding of what social transitioning is, how we came out to family and friends, and how we are dealing with issues of misgendering and gender dysphoria. We got the chance to look back at some of our experiences in school and how some progress has been made to affirm the identities of trans students.

We also exchanged ideas on how to cope in certain situations where we feel our identities are not respected or taken seriously.

What are our message to fellow trans and cis individuals still in the process of learning? What is the advice we got that we still hold dear and help us get through life’s challenges? Stick around until the end to find out our answers to these questions.
