Witches Before Leviticus (The Tudors s1e5)
Wotcha! This week on The Tudors, Abby and Danny follow newly married Margaret and CB back to England to see if Henry will receive the news maturely or not (lol), try to keep up with the rapidly evolving love triangle between Henry, Francis, and CV, and cringe at the hypocrisy of everyone involved with obtaining Henry his greatly desired annulment. Also, #TallisWatch becomes even more riveting as Thomas Tallis achieves new heights as a gay icon. Then, Abby schools Danny with a pop quiz on royal divorces and annulments through history, in which we learn that Henry is in great company in being The Worst. All this plus: Italian Beef and mostaccioli!

Please note: Prince Philip died approximately seven minutes after we recorded this episode. We will talk about it next week.

TV Episode: The Tudors, season 1, episode 5: Arise, My Lord

History Lesson: Royal annulments and divorces in the Catholic church prior to Henry VIII

Royally Screwed is hosted by Abby Gleason and Danny Pirtle. This episode was edited by Abby Gleason.
