OpenStreetMap provides a great level of detail to XPression Maps. Now, you can see the OSM content on your canvas by category and name in the OSM Overview Panel. Users in both XPression Maps Designer and the HTML5 client can also filter the results to a specific text string, if it helps to find what you are looking for.XPression Maps Designer can expand the OSM Overview to show more results than what is visible on the canvas. XPression Maps 4.0 introduces some new tools in the user interface. In this video we are showing off the Drawings Overview Panel, which gives users the ability to see all the Drawing Tools added to a map and a way to select them, rename them, and even turn visibility of them on and off. This is a great tool for finding items on your map scenes and selecting them from one place.
Microsoft Azure Maps for Enterprise and Mapbox are both metered service providers with a monthly allowance of free access to the system. By our calculations, XPression Maps users should be below the free threshold per month on either service. However, we have added tools on the XPression Maps 4.0 Preferences panel for users to monitor their usage in a range of durations including a custom date range which can de defined by the user.
