Formally known as The Calm Collective, ROOTED is a soul driven podcast created for humans everywhere seeking a vulnerable approach to life in its entirety. From soulful conversations around grief and relationships, heartfelt interviews with incredible humans, to real life updates taking place inside my own life - here, we don't believe in small talk. We go deep. We laugh, we cry, and we bare it all each week. This is where vulnerability and relatability collide. I'm so grateful you're here.

129. Dropping Shame Around Mental Health & How to Create a Life You Truly Love ft. Val @penniesandpurpose

Val is by far one of my favorite follows on Instagram and has been for years. She's 100% anonymous (which turns out is harder than you might think), and gives her followers a raw, candid and unabashed look into her struggles (and triumphs) within her mental health journey, how she's using her hard earned money (and how this has changed drastically over the years), and providing tangible, straight forward advice for those every day life hang-ups that are so relatable it almost makes you laugh.

So grab some coffee & prepare for a super candid interview with my friend "Val" as we hear from her on difficult family dynamics, how it's impacted her life & her current partnership, how to drop the shame around mental health and society's stigmas, giving up control, what living a life of minimalism means to her, and how to reprogram yourself to be able to use your money to create a life you love (rather than the life that society tells us we "should" be living).

PS: you can grab Val's Expense Tracker (free or donation based - up to you!) right here: https://penniesandpurpose.gumroad.com/l/2023expensetracker

& the book on boundaries that Val mentions in this episode: https://bit.ly/3omZssS
