Dr. Juliette Becquet is a French hydro-ecologist who grew up near Chamonix’s retreating glaciers. She is the central figure in the documentary DOWNSTREAM, produced by Protect Our Winters Europe in collaboration with icebreaker. The film follows her journey from the vineyards of Switzerland to the salmon streams of North America, exploring how glacier loss impacts ecosystems, communities, and industries worldwide. It also highlights regenerative agriculture as a potential solution to climate challenges.
