This week’s guest is a master class in resilience. Starting her jiu jitsu journey at Immersion Glen Waverley, “Tiny” Tina West was fortunate to receive a grounding in the fundamentals from “Mini” Dave Marinakis, one of the best in Australia. She moved to Rochester in regional Victoria as a blue belt and faced many hardships, including the floods of 2022 that all but destroyed the town. Always having a dream to start her own academy, Tina started Momentum Jiu Jitsu in Rochester in 2024 and hasn’t looked back. Make sure you listen to this episode!
