Mark Ormrod is a former Royal Marine who was injured in Afghanistan in 2007. He lost both of his legs and his right arm in an explosion while on a routine patrol with his unit. Despite suffering such severe injuries, Mark refused to let them define him. Instead, he set about rebuilding his life and becoming an inspiration to others. Mark's road to recovery was a long and difficult one, but he never gave up. He worked hard to regain his strength and mobility, and eventually began competing in para-athletics and weightlifting. He also became an author & motivational speaker, sharing his story and encouraging others to never give up on their dreams. In 2018, Mark was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for his services to charity and to veterans. Today, he continues to inspire others through his work with various charities and his speaking engagements. Join us as we kick off Season 4 with style and discover Mark's resilience & determination, a reminder that anything is possible with hard work and a positive attitude.
