In the age of social media, what is the impact on Christianity? Is it creating opportunities for community, friendships, and growth? In this episode, I speak with an Instagram account phenomenon, with 104K followers, averaging 2.5M impressions and 75,000 content interactions per week. The account, Christians Who Curse Sometimes, has become a platform discussing difficult and controversial topics among Christians. The owner of the account is anonymous and in this episode I come to know him as “Mike.” He is in a unique position to have a pulse on the issues that Christians struggle with, and we dive deep into discussion. To say that this conversation was amazingly insightful is an under statement. I left with the questions in my mind: “Are Christians and churches using social media to its full potential, and how can we invite dialogue that opens pathways for growth, understanding, and better communicate among the Christian community?”
