Welcome to RIGHT IN THE CHILDHOOD: the podcast where two mates on the opposite ends of Millenial: one a Xennial and the other just on the cusp of Gen Z, take it in turns to pick a treasured kids telly show from their childhood. It's a podcast recorded in two parts per episode where they talk about memories of the show and whether the other has even heard of it, pause to rewatch/watch the first ep and a favourite, then discuss whether the memories were justified and what the other thinks of the show coming at it from a different generation's angle.

Bonus - Disney's Peter Pan (1953)
A surprise bonus episode of Right In The Childhood!

Right in the Childhood was a podcast about nostalgia and kids TV. The show's hosts were two friends from different generations, Mark and Fraser. Mark is a 44 year old on the edge of Gen X and Millennial; Fraser is a 27 year old on the edge of Millennial and Gen Z and they both have a Peter Pan complex! They took it in turns each month to take a look at a treasured TV show from their childhood, share memories, discuss whether the other host has heard of it, rewatch a few episodes and then discuss how it hold up with the hope that it does and that it doesn't hit them... right in the childhood!

This episode is a special bonus episode from the archives of Mark's computer that was recorded during the pandemic in anticipation of the release of Peter Pan and Wendy. Seeing as Peter Pan and Wendy is being released immenently, we thought we'd release it despite the podcast ending in 2022.

Fraser and Mark take a look at the original Disney animated adaptation of Peter Pan and discuss their memories of it and their anticipation of Peter Pan and Wendy. They look for the positives of the film but also acknowledge the more problematic elements of it too.
