今回のポッドキャストでは、ミスを笑おうというストーリーを私の本『ハワイからの贈り物』から朗読&シェアします。自分がアンバサダーを務めているStill and moving centerで、先日からカイワ＆瞑想というクラスのMC進行役をやっているのですが、外国語を学ぶことについて色々考えさせられています。完璧でなく間違ってもいいから心からコミュニケーションしようという姿勢を何よりも大切にしたい！ってつくづく思う今日この頃。今回は、そもそも私はなぜ英語を学ぼうと思ったのか、英語を学ぶ上での体験話など、色々と雑談させていただきつつ、その昔、ドン・ホーにインタビューをした際に彼が教えてくれた「ミスを笑おう！」という姿勢、教訓についてもフィーチャーします。Sometimes we are so afraid and ashamed of making mistakes. But it's so unnecessary when we are learning a new language. When I met Don Ho back in the day for radio interview, he taught me the beauty of laughing at your own mistakes and not taking yourself so seriously. I wrote about that experience in the story for my book " Hawaii kara no okurimono" and will share it on this episode.
