Why does the left despise the Jews and specifically Israel? Why are they demanding a cease-fire as Israel goes about methodically destroying Hamas? Has there ever been a call for a cease-fire in any war before? Well, of course not. The left has just decided to hate the Jews and Israel. Based on their tribalist, racialist, neo-Marxist ideology Jews are kind of white, and therefore bad. So of course, the left and the Democrats embrace the Hamas/Isis/Nazis. Their ideology inevitably leads them to this sickness.
