No-one talks about the stereotype being looking a certain way and the treatment received because of it. There is a bad side to"being pretty," many people overlook and one day I decided to start being vocal about it on the internet.
From people being mean to you for no other reasons beside their insecurities, people think you are uneducated (dumb) and just aren't a good person - all opinions based off of looks NOT because they truly know who you are.
After getting some traction online, the New York post reached out to do an interview. When I made the follow up TikTok after the interview came out, the internet went insane!!!! I was receiving stitch, duet and comment alerts every second for days and still receiving feedback until today.
Lots of people appreciated the conversion and could relate... but then there was a group of people that decided to tell the internet "the type of person I am," even though they literally have never met me. Judging and bullying me based off nothing other than my looks - which made me entire point to begin with!
Hope this helped shed some light on a issue that is overlooked & enjoy this deeper meaning conversation!
