Satan has Boundaries

Key points of Satan’s Creation:

·     Satan was created, not pre-existing as God or with God.

·     Originally blameless and glorious

·     Pride and rebellion led to his fall.

The Cherub that Covers:

There were cherubim that covered the Mercy Seat; these cherubim are depicted as guarding the presence and glory of God, with their wings covering the mercy seat, where God’s presence dwelt. 

 Using this example of Cherub covering, one can assume that the original purpose of Lucifer (Satan) was to cover the Throne of God as one who stood in God’s presence as a guardian of God’s Throne or glory. He had access to the Holy Mountain of God and walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

God uses Satan to perfect the ones that Satan accuses. Satan hates mankind with perfect hatred. The soul that is perfected inChrist will stand before God, where He used to stand, and behold the glory of God in the beauty of Holiness.
