Ricer Knows #4: Mango x Mathman
Dublin’s Mango & MathMan are two leading figures in the new wave of exciting Irish urban music. They have been making music together for several years as part of The Animators collective, but since 2016 have focused solely on collaborative projects between themselves. Their first release ‘Badman’ has become the quintessential grime anthem for Ireland and their subsequent releases have held their stature as the ones to watch on the Dublin music scene. Their steadfast approach to innovating and melding established genres such as Grime, UK garage, Rave and Hip Hop have given them a unique sound that blends rave culture and Dublin life like no other. Mango's lyricism embodies Dublin wit, humour and attitude over MathMan’s diverse and captivating productions. Their live shows have become the highlight of festivals around the country, inducing old school rave parties for a new Ireland.
