S1E18 - Is your Youth Basketball Player Tough Enough? Part 2

In part 2 of the "Is your Youth Basketball Player Tough Enough?", Coach Darryl Adams, RD parent Rick Spence are joined by former RD alumni Marquis Bell. Marquis is the current head varsity basketball coach at Georgetown Day School. With his input, they continue the discussion on TOUGHNESS and youth basketball. Building from earlier conversations, they discuss both mental and physical toughness in youth as well as the advantages of having and training both. Is toughness only cultivated in urban upbringings? Discourse on pro basketball players who exude mental and/or physical toughness sheds light as well. With these examples, how do you use that information to advance your athlete? How do you get them to push mentally past the hard parts?
