On this super special Friday the 13th release, Jared reads through and explains another Bitcoin Improvement Proposal, BIP 78. Since RevSol is, as you know, the podcast that has read more about Bitcoin Improvement Proposals than any other podcast you know. BIP 78 explains "a simple payjoin proposal."
Jared had been wanting to make a point to read through and better understand another BIP, and he expected others might be interested to learn about this BIP as well. BIP 78 has been accepted by BTCPay Server, Wasabi Wallet, and Blue Wallet (confirmed through their website). Jared is happy to recommend BTCPay Server to anyone needing payment portal services. It is a fantastic FOSS project that allows you to accept bitcoin for any products or services and even has a website plugin.
Jared is also happy to recommend that you give Blue Wallet a try. He has not used the Payjoin capability within the wallet (cannot find the option to use it anywhere in the app), but Blue Wallet overall offers great features (you can create multiple wallets, export the xpubs for your cold storage into Blue in order to receive to your vault on the go, and you can connect to the node of your choice on clearnet or over TOR) and the project is also FOSS. Blue Wallet is available for iOS, Android, and desktop. Jared can confirm that it performs well on grapheneOS as well.
