"Macbeth": Act 1, Scene 3 🤴 GCSE English Literature Learning & Revision

In this episode, we’ll explore Act 1, Scene 3 of Macbeth, where the witches reappear, showcasing their malevolent nature as they plot against a sailor. We’ll examine their three prophecies—hailing Macbeth as Thane of Glamis, Thane of Cawdor, and future king—while Banquo is told his descendants will be kings. As Macbeth soon learns he has been granted the title of Thane of Cawdor, we’ll discuss his internal conflict over the witches' words and his growing ambition.
