Reverie True Crime

Reverie—a word that evokes dreamy introspection, yet not all daydreams are serene. Sometimes, when our minds wander, they lead us into shadowy corners filled with intrusive thoughts, fears, and questions about the darker aspects of humanity. These unsettling reveries can spiral into haunting curiosity about the crimes, mysteries, and injustices that mark our world.

Paige shares stories of unspeakable crimes and their lasting impacts. She also speaks with survivors, victims' loved ones, and fellow storytellers, creating a space where the weight of these stories is honored with empathy and respect. Occasionally, Paige ventures into the realm of haunting, paranormal tales that blur the line between reality and nightmare.

Her goal is to illuminate the darkness, bringing attention to injustices, overlooked details, and the human stories woven into each crime. This podcast is not only about telling stories—it's about understanding them, confronting them, and, hopefully, learning from them.

You can email case suggestions and even your personal paranormal/strange and/or crime related stories to ReverieTrueCrime@gmail.com

177. Crystal McCrory Jones: Autopsy Red Flags, Accusations Online, and a Sheriff Who Looked Away - Part 3 of 5
Crystal McCrory Jones' family just wanted answers…and dignity. But in the weeks after her death, they were met with hostility, public accusations, and a system that seemed more interested in shutting them down than hearing them out. In part three, Crystal’s sister is denied access to her ashes, accused of stealing funeral funds, and dismissed by the very sheriff who had promised transparency. Why was the time of death listed at 11:00 AM? Why does the sheriff now claim that time is meaningless? And why was critical evidence ignored?
