As part of our series on Responsible AI, please join us for S1E15-  PII A conversation with Jason Brinkley, PhD, Biostatistician and Health Researcher: Auditing Algorithms: The Need for New Tools to Combat Bias in Artificial Intelligence  NIST Publication NIST AI Risk Management Framework   Dr. Jason Brinkley is a Biostatistician and Health Researcher out of Raleigh, NC. He maintains an Adjunct Professor of Public Health and a researcher with the NC Agromedicine Institute at East Carolina University. Dr. Brinkley has worked with a variety of individuals in the medicine, public health, business, education, and the natural and social sciences. He currently serves as NC Chapter Representative for the American Statistical Association and is on the Executive Committee for the Southeast SAS Users Group. He balances research time between theoretical ways to assess the impact of medical interventions on public health and the best practices for using statistical software. A member of the American Statistical Association, the American Public Health Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science; he recently served on the Customer Advisory Board of the JMP Division of SAS Institute.
