Navid Rezvani is recognized as one of Norway’s leading dancers and performing artists, celebrated for his dynamic fusion of Hip Hop, Breaking, and theatrical storytelling. With more than 25 years of stage experience, he has built a multifaceted career as both dancer and actor, performing across a wide range of genres—from classical opera to contemporary street culture.
Rezvani’s work has taken him to prominent stages in Norway and around the world, including performances in Sweden, Spain, Iran, India, the United States, and Bangladesh. His collaborations with renowned choreographers and directors have consistently pushed artistic boundaries, earning him acclaim both nationally and internationally.
Born in Iran and raised in Norway, Rezvani draws from a dual cultural heritage that deeply informs his artistic voice. His work weaves together Persian tradition and Western influences, creating performances that are both deeply personal and broadly resonant. Through his art, he bridges cultural divides, honoring both his roots and his adopted homeland with nuance and authenticity.
He has held leading roles at the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in acclaimed productions such asCarmen, Romeo and Juliet, and Kingwings vs The National Ballet. He has toured with Riksteatret (The Norwegian Touring Theatre), and delivered standout solo performances for Norwegian national television (NRK), including appearances atIdrettsgallaen, TV-Aksjonen, and NRK Sommerkonsert. His work has also featured alongside the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra at the Oslo Concert Hall.
As a long-time member of prominent dance crews including Frikar, Floorknights, and Kingwings Crew, Rezvani has played a key role in shaping the urban dance scene in Norway. His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including a three-year working grant from the Norwegian Arts Council and the Oslo City Artist Award with Kingwings Crew.
In 2021, Rezvani captured a global audience by winning Persia’s Got Talent, a show broadcast to over 30 million viewers via MBC Persia. He previously rose to national prominence as the runner-up on Norske Talenter (Norway’s Got Talent) in 2012.
Beyond the stage, Rezvani is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and social change. He has delivered talks and workshops in schools, universities, prisons, and corporate settings across countries such as France, Germany, and the UAE. She has toured with famous French singers, participated in the TV shows "France has an incredible talent", and danced for several international artists (Pittbull, Taylor Swift). In addition, she also sings in the musical Flashdance. Since 2018 she has joined the professional company Wanted Posse, where she is a singer and dancer.
