Popping the bubble and lighting the way this World Access to Higher Education Day with Jemma and Nathanael.
Our podcast today highlights World Access to Higher Education Day, which is taking place this year on the 17 November. This episode is hosted by Leanna Kotsakis a Partnership Officer within the Deakin Engagement and Access Program (also known as DEAP) which is part of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team at Deakin University. You will be hearing from guests Jemma and Nathanael two Deakin students who are Mentors of DEAP (MoD’s for short). MoD’s are a key part of the DEAP team, working with high school students to build aspiration and instil confidence to support them in decision making about their future, breaking down the socioeconomic barriers around access to education. This episode of Respect.
