What is resilience?

At Beforest we have always believed that sustainability and economic viability are one and the same they are actually two sides of the same coin and you can't have one without the other long-term. The covid-19 pandemic sort of underline this the fragility of a current system we are working in has been highlighted - supply chain distractions, large-scale migrations, these are the challenges of today. We are wondering in this background what could have been done differently and how do we plan things going forward so that we are heading towards a more resilient world. What do we even mean by resilience? How does it affect us on an everyday basis?
