If you are like me, you have experienced a gamut of emotions this week. My soul will not rest until I truly do my part to ensure our voice is heard. Everyday, I am reminded of the uncertainty of life and pray for my family's protection. However, I refuse to just sit back and let things just happen. It really is going to take a village to combat the injustices at the city, state and national level.
