Send us a text Born in Denver, CO to Irish immigrants, John entered WWII during the early stages of the European theater as a B-24 Liberator bombardier. His squadron busied itself with bombing campaigns across North Africa and the Middle East. John also took part in Operation Tidal Wave against Axis oil refineries in Ploesti, Romania and miraculously made it back alive.
