I'm strong and independent! I don't need anyone telling me what to do! No way I'm submitting or giving in to you or your ways!
Any of that sound familiar? Probably because as humans we innately have problems with authority. Even believers don't want to listen to or obey anyone past Jesus. We think He's really the only authority we should look to. But Peter (and Paul) say something different.
