Immigrant Health Perspectives Series - Episode 2: Darya and Kenzy from MedComm

In this second episode of the Immigrant Health Perspectives Series, Jude interviews Darya Naumova and Kenzy Abdelhamid who are co-leading a McGill initiative that trains medical students to be health translators. Their group, MedComm, recently received $30,000 in funding to continue these efforts and potentially expand their mission by collaborating with other faculties.

You can also watch this episode on YouTube!

MedComm aims to bridge linguistic and cultural barriers in healthcare via an accessible online mobile platform. Our group works to provide accessible and timely medical interpretation services with the help of qualified and trained medical students. Check out the amazing work that the group has been doing on their Facebook and Twitter.
