Regional Rasslin' - Territory Talk
The WrestleCopia Network
121 episodes

Before the national expansion of Pro Wrestling the business was split into many different regional promotions referred to as "the territories". Each territory competed within their own regional boundaries with unqiue wrestling stars, championship belts, and local TV. We talk the good old days from the territory era, from the AWA to JCP, New York to Los Angeles, Memphis to Mid-South, Portland to Florida, Stampede to Maple Leaf, Houston to Dallas, well... you get the point!

Rasslin 107: Memphis 6/8/85 (TUX's HIT LIST, MACHO GONE, SHEEPHERDERS RETURN!)

This week on Regional Rasslin', Gene Jackson returns to co-host as we look at more Memphis Wrestling for June 1985! Jerry Lawler is riding high after defeating Randy Savage for the Southern Title and sending the Macho Man packing to the WWF... BUT, the King finds out there's no rest for the weary as Bruiser Brody looms ahead Monday Night! Tux Newman is laid up in bed, but that doesn't stop him from creating a "HIT" LIST! Kareem Muhammad continues to stick it to Jay Youngblood. The Sheepherders return in a new incarnation. The Fabs seek revenge on the Buddy Wayne led team of Billy Travis & Ron Sexton. The Mexican Angel is still here (for now). The PYT continue to dominate the tag team scene, and much more!
