I run a YouTube channel called The Pirate Wanderer. We have a podcast within the channel (and also on Spotify, Apple, all the usual places) called "Reflections". Similar to The Moth from NPR, each episode showcases three storytellers who share personal tales from their own lives. Successes, failures, lessons learned. Travel, humor, and real life. Whatever story the teller wants to share. And I'd like to feature YOU as a storyteller! Here are the details … I need a 5-10 minute personal story about something that happened in your life that led to a change. Something that inspired you or helped you to grow. You can either film yourself (don't worry, I'll tell you how) or we can hop on a video call and I'll step you through it. Yes, it's a podcast but it's also a video. Spotify and YouTube allow for video podcasts. And if you have a personal brand or a charity that you wish to tag with your story, that will be included in both the description and in the introduction. The idea is to both entertain and inspire others with stories from our own lives. It's the basis for The Pirate Wanderer and we're also extending that to allow others to be inspirational as well.
