Re:Build (Tiny Home & Sparking Joy)
What do we really need to live well? From the houses we build to the possessions we buy, our choices have a huge impact on how we live and the world around us.
In this episode, host Meghann Scully explores how living with less can open up space for a more sustainable future, and she’s joined by two guests who are approaching this in different, but complementary, ways.
Paul Lawford is the founder of Small Change, where he’s helping people explore what he calls a radical, sustainable and affordable alternative to traditional housing. He tells Meghann the story of how he quit his job, sold most of his possessions, and built his own Tiny Home with no previous construction experience.
Aidan Gately, of Joy at Home, is a decluttering specialist and certified KonMari consultant, as well as the first Declutter Expert on RTÉ’s popular television series Home Rescue. He chats about how decluttering is about far more than tidying up; it’s a mindset shift that can reduce waste, bring calm to our homes, and positively affect our mental health.
