名作ラブロマンス映画の『ゴースト』をみてみました。
まあ何度目かの視聴にはなるわけですけども。
やっぱりラブロマンスはいいね。
甘い。すごく甘い。
甘すぎてね、こき下ろしたくなるのよね。
でもどんな表現にも始祖がいるわけで、こういうコテコテなものもこうした名作があるから後のテンプレと化していくわけですよね。
あの有名なろくろシーンに込められたメタファーとは。
人が死ぬってどういうこと。
９０年代アメリカの抱える不安ってなあに？
僕たちは人の死をどう乗り越えていきていくのかな。
刻一刻と変化していく社会の中で、死者との対話のあり方も変わっていく。
令和を生きる皆さんと共に考えてみたいものです。

Hey, it’s Mako, your movie-talk podcast host.
This time I sat down with Orma from #ポケ沼 to revisit one of the all-time classic romance films: Ghost.
Yeah, I’ve seen it a couple times before. But man, romance films really hit different, don’t they? Sweet—almost toosweet. So sweet it makes you wanna roast it a little.
Still, every cliché has its origin, and Ghost is one of those cornerstones that turned syrupy tropes into a template for everything that followed.
What’s really going on in that famous pottery-wheel scene?
What does it mean for someone to die?
And what kind of anxieties were Americans carrying in the 1990s?
Most of all: how do we, the living, move forward after losing someone?
As society changes, so does the way we talk to the dead.
So let’s think about it together—from the perspective of those of us living in Reiwa-era Japan.
