This time, by listener request, we’re taking on the monumental classic — 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Hard to believe, isn’t it? The year 2001 has long since passed, and yet the film’s vision of the future still feels… strangely ahead of us.
It’s fascinating to look back and ask: how did people once imagine the future, and what meanings were embedded in that vision?
But with famous films like this, there’s always that strange sense of intimidation — that feeling of how do I even begin to talk about something so mythic?
To explore its essence is, in a way, to question how far interpretation itself can go in art.
